A group of  six car dealerships in the Edmundston area are proud to announce that they are coming together to create a new business.

This new collision center will operate under the banner CarrXpert and will offer all car owners, paint and body work that is specialized, certified and that meets manufacturing standards.

In order to create this dynamic service oriented team, we are currently accepting applications for the following positions:

 

Journeyperson Motor Vehicle Body Repairer (Metal and Paint)

 

Requirements:

  • High school diploma or equivalency

  • Journeyperson as a Motor Vehicle Body Repairer and Painter

  • Must be fluent in both english and french

 

 

Responsibilites:

  • Review damage reports

  • Prepare estimates for repairs

  • Prepare a work plan to be performed on the vehicle

  • Repair and replace vehicle components using blocks, hammers, soldering equipment, plastic fillers

  • Remove damaged parts using wrenches, cutting torch and bolt and/or weld replacement parts into place

  • Straighten bent frames using frame and underbody pulling and anchoring equipment

  • File, grind, sand repaired body surfaces using hand and power tools

  • Mask and tape autobody surfaces in preparartion for painting

  • Mix paint, blend, match colors

  • Apply primers and repaint surfaces using brush or spary guns

Apprentice in Motor Vehicle Body Repair (Metal and Paint)

 

Requirements:

  • High school diploma or equivalency

  • Course successfully completed in Motor Vehicle Body Repairer and Painter

  • Registered in the Motor Vehicle Body Repairer and Painter Apprenticeship program

  • Must be fluent in both english and french

 

 

Responsibilites:

Under the supervision of a Journeyperson in Motor Vehicle Body Repair, the qualified candidates may :

  • Review damage reports

  • Prepare estimates for repairs

  • Prepare a work plan to be performed on the vehicle
